PH163 1851 (18th Mar). Scruffy envelope with "Chief Office 1d Paid" in blue & two nice red PD marks. £5.00 [PH163]
PH59 1852 (9th Jun). Cover from Glasgow to Edinburgh with 1841 Penny Red. Hexagonal "E / GLASGOW / JUN9 / 1852" in red. Edinburgh arrival mark "JUN / A10M / 1852" in red. Also faint "Queens Street". £30.00 [PH59]
PH479 1853. Envelope, containing 4 page letter, from RICHMOND to CALCUTTA, with blue/green, double arc: "RICHMOND/EV/JA18/1853" postmark, on reverse, and red, paid, circular mark, on face, with manuscript "ll", in red. Very unclear. Boxed Calcutta receiving mark for "MAR/2", on reverse. Discoloured envelope. £6.00 [PH479]
PH369 1854 (January). Empty mourning envelope from BATH to LONDON, with 1d red, on face. BATH datestamp and LONDON datestamp on reverse. Envelope has been re-sealed. £8.00 [PH369]
PH379 1854 (28th Dec). Wrapper from AYR to GLASGOW. Face bears 1d red, cancelled with the AYR "27" duplex. Reverse bears red, small, inframed, double arc, datestamp: "AYR/28FE/1854" and red, boxed, oblong, receiving datestamp: "GLASGOW/MAR 1 M/1854". Small "re-inforcing" repair to small damage caused around seal area, caused when originally opened. £10.00 [PH379]
PH237 1855 (17th Feb). Envelope with very blued 1d red with Duplex 293 (Kirgubbin) mark. "Prestonkirk" transit mark in red & "Haddington" receiving mark in black. £10.00 [PH237]
PH304 1856. Two, very interesting, financial accounts for nursing an ailing lady (8/6d per week and 17/6d per week for day and night), and 5/- for washing the lady after death! Also a signed receipt for the full account of £7-19-6. £25.00 [PH304]
PH130 1856 (8th Feb). Entire from London to Alnwick (Charing Cross branch office mark in red and Alnwick receiving mark in black. £6.00 [PH130]
PH542 1858 (8th Sep). Postal Stationary envelope, with 1d, embossed, pink stamp. From WORCESTER to THURLES, Ireland, redirected to LISMORE. Face bears spoon duplex: "l/WORCESTER/SP8/58", number 918. Reverse bears: "DUBLIN/2E/SE9/1858", datestamp, "LISMORE/SE10/1858", datestamp, "THURLES/SE10/1858", datestamp, and "CASHEL/SE11/1858/A", datestamp. £15.00 [PH542]

PH355 1866 (7th May). Small envelope bearing 1d red, cancelled with: "STAPLEHURST/C/MY7/66" duplex. number 989. Reverse bears a red thimble: "LONDON WC/MY8/66" datestamp, and a black thimble: "ROLVENDEN/A/MY7/66" datestamp. Penny red has full perfs and is plate No. 86. £18.00 [PH355]
PH305 1867 (16th May). On large piece, from London to Messina, Sicily, with very clear marks of: "London-W/X/MY16/67", with upright, framed duplex: "W/36". Also, red "PD" in oval frame and "MESSINA/12/MAG/67/IOM", receiving datestamp. Also bears 1/- green SG101 with straight edge on left. Sent via MARSEILLES. Large, paper watermark: "TWOGOODS EXTRA SUPER". £15.00 [PH305]

PH33 1868 (4th Nov). Entire from Liverpool, England, to Venice. 6d lilac with hyphen (plate 6), cancelled with Liverpool duplex 466. Red PD in circle on front. Red "London", black "Torino" and black "Venetia" postmarks on reverse. £45.00 [PH33]

Face bears three 1d reds (plate 124), cancelled with circle: "LONDON S.E/DX/AU31/70" duplex "15", and "1st Sept 1870 CALAIS", double circle, datestamp. Also bears red "PD" in oval. Reverse bears "BORDEAUX 1st/2nd SEPT 1870", double circle, datestamp (2 days from London to Bordeaux, in those days). Some re-inforcing of corner holes, etc., inside. £6.00 [PH434]
