1838 (19th Jun). Wrapper posted in Havana, 19th June, 1838, arrived London, 17th July, 1838. Sent by Packet H.B.M ALERT and took 30 days in transit. Manuscript charge mark "6/2" on face and unframed, London double arc, datestamp: "LONDON/17/JUL/1838" on reverse. Damage caused when opening has been re-inforced at back (by London datestamp).
